A high-powered delegation from Niger State, Nigeria, led by His Excellency Dr. Mohammed Umaru Bago, Executive Governor of Niger State, comprising Members of Parliament, Commissioners and Mayors, met with the leadership of the Central Association of Private Security Industry (CAPSI) at PHD House, New Delhi on 4th August 2026.
The discussions explored areas of collaboration to strengthen the security infrastructure and training ecosystem in Niger State, with the objective of creating a secure environment that inspires confidence among investors and supports economic growth.
A roadmap was discussed covering training and professionalisation of private security guards and officers, capacity building, and risk management solutions.
Both sides agreed to take the dialogue forward, with the next meeting proposed to be held in Niger State, Nigeria, to advance the collaboration and develop an actionable framework.
